Dan Pence received his B.S. in Architecture from the University of Idaho in 1983 and a B.S. in Construction Management from Washington State University the following year. He came to the Seattle area in 1984 and worked for several architectural firms. He spent the last twelve years working for a Kirkland firm specializing in custom single-family residential projects along with work on office buildings, religious and condominium projects. In 1998 Dan established The Pence Associates Architects.


Dave May received his B.S. in Architecture from the University of Washington in 1987.He worked in the Seattle area for several architectural firms and spent the last eight years working for a Kirkland firm specializing in custom single-family residential projects along with work on office buildings, religious and condominium projects. Dave joined the Pence Associates in 1999.
